We post new dogs on the web site as soon as we receive them. However, if you wait until you see the dog's photo, and then submit your application, the dog you want will probably already be adopted. So, please follow this procedure if you want to adopt a dog.

• First, you must submit your application. Make sure to tell us what type of dog you are looking for, as we do call people who have been pre-approved when the type of dog they want becomes available.



• Once you have submitted your application, you can call us as soon as you see a new dog appear on the site that is of interest to you. (And we may call you, but if you see a dog you like, call us right away - assuming we have an application on file).



• If you call about a dog and we do not return your call within a week, that means the dog has already been placed with another adopter. Please try again when you see another dog. Obviously, only one family can adopt any specific dog, so we adopt to the first qualified person who we interview. We can not hold dogs.



• If you are interested in seeing a dog, you MUST have an appointment with us to stop by. Please do not visit without an appointment as dogs are often in foster homes, at the vets being spayed or neutered, or otherwise not here, unless we have an appointment scheduled for a visit.
