Small Dog Rescue Has Moved to Chico, CA
I am happy to announce that we are serving Northern California from our new location in Chico (70 miles north of Sacramento), for those wishing to adopt small dogs.
We get dogs from shelters throughout the Central Valley, and from Mexico, through our affiliation with Compassion Without Borders, and their quarantine center at in Vacaville.
We are looking for foster homes, event volunteers, dog walkers, and volunteer office staff in the Chico area. Please let us know if you can possibly help us save more lives. For each additional volunteer, an adoptable small dog is placed in the transport vehicle from a shelter, where for no other reason than being in the wrong place at the wrong time, it was going to be killed.
Our Mailing Address has Changed. Please note new PO Box:

The photo shows Rusty and Woody with their "pack" - Kathy and Ken Klages. Kathy has been a volunteer in the dog Behavior and Training Department for the Marin County Humane Society for over 8 years, and uses this great training to help select the very best dogs to put up for adoption.
Ken is the web site designer for this site and helps take care of the many little dogs who come and go. Ken's web design business generates the income for the family so Kathy can devote most of her time to dogs. If you know anyone looking for an economical web site, Ken would appreciate the referral.
Do Not visit our address in the hopes of seeing dogs -
they are in foster homes.
Meetings are by appointment only.
